Hi There!

Hi, I am Jennifer, and I am so glad to meet you. As your therapist, I bring many years of experience in helping individuals navigate their mental health journeys. I hold a Masters in Mental Health and Counseling from New York University and a Master’s in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Oklahoma where I specialized in holistic mental health, somatic/body awareness, and a whole-person approach using evidence-based theories. These include EMDR, emotion-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, CBT, and mindfulness. My previous career was overseas working with the military and their families for 10 years. I hold a deep respect for family dynamics, post-traumatic stress disorder, and those who have experienced trauma. I currently have extensive experience in trauma, anxiety, depression, women’s issues including, couples work, maternal mental health, sex therapy and sex work, disordered eating, and LGBTQIA+. Clients have appreciated my empathetic, non-judgmental approach and my dedication to creating personalized treatment plans that address their distinctive needs. Finding a space to be your unique self can feel impossible and can bring on anxiety. My ability to create a space that soothes, comforts, and nourishes gives clients a healing haven of well-being.

Many clients have found success with my methods, evidenced by numerous positive feedback and measurable improvements in their mental health. I believe in continuous learning and regularly engage in professional development to stay at the forefront of psychological practice.

fun facts

  • I will travel to a destination to eat! I was lucky enough to live overseas for almost 10 years and have travelled to over 40 countries! 

  • I love to swim in the ocean, hike a mountain, bike, do yoga, walk a city, you name it, I am probably willing to do it! I am also currently working on getting scuba-certified!

  • Reading allows me to enjoy my favorite stories and learn new things. Whether I'm commuting, exercising, or relaxing, I can always find time for a good book.
