EMDR Therapy

EMDR is a structured, evidence-based psychotherapy designed to help individuals process and heal from distressing life experiences and trauma. Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMDR focuses on targeting unprocessed memories stored in the brain, which can cause emotional distress and contribute to negative beliefs or behaviors.

Meet Jennifer

Hi, I’m Jennifer. I’m a therapist with extensive experience in mental health and wellness. Choosing me as your therapist means committing to a path of empowerment, growth, and holistic well-being. Currently, I have extensive experience in trauma, anxiety, depression, women's issues, men’s issues, bipolar disorder, disordered eating, and LGBTQIA+ issues . Clients appreciate my empathetic, non-judgmental yet challenging approach and my dedication to creating personalized treatment. I focus on providing a soothing and nourishing space for clients to feel safe and supported.

I graduated from New York University with a Master's in Mental Health and Counseling and from the University of Oklahoma with a Master's in Human Development and Family Studies. I specialized in holistic mental health and evidence-based therapies such as EMDR, emotion-focused therapy, somatic therapy, psychodynamic therapy, DBT, CBT, and mindfulness. My previous career involved working overseas with the military and their families for 10 years, which has given me a deep respect for family dynamics, PTSD, and trauma work. I believe in continuous learning and regularly engage in professional development.
